On The Women of Picasso by Marisol Santana Tirelli:
“My former husband, the video artist Michel Auder used to complain that I wasn't enough like his mother who warmed up his clothes in front of the fireplace each morning in Gif-sur-Yvette. This reminded me of Francoise Gilot, Picasso’s wife who spent two hours every morning coaxing him out of bed with reassurances of his genius along with lots of cups of coffee. But that wasn't enough to discourage him from putting his cigarette out on her cheek, as Gilot confided to my sister Marybeth.
...With Marisol's musical talent and public record of perfect research, she will be able to give us a marvelous spectacle of the history of all Picasso's women, transformed by the magic of cabaret.
