Artist and Educator Statement:

As a writer for stage and film, I am dedicated to crafting narratives that illuminate the experiences of immigrants and refugees, as well as broader social issues that shape the human condition—inequality, resilience, identity, and climate change. My work seeks to foster empathy and understanding, giving voice to those whose stories are often overlooked while exploring the urgent challenges we face as individuals and as a society.
 

In addition to my writing, I am a multidisciplinary artist and educator, using storytelling and sociodrama as tools for social change. Through my work with immigrants, refugees, and diverse communities, I’ve witnessed the power of the arts to break down barriers, challenge perspectives, and inspire action. I believe storytelling can be both an artistic expression and a force for transformation, sparking conversations that lead to deeper awareness and meaningful change.
